If you arrive at Juliaca airport, you will need to take a shuttle service or private car to Puno (PUERTO KALAPAJRA) this place is a meeting point to take a boat to the lodge if you like we can organize your private car from the airport for additional cost of 40 dollar for 2 person, received by our representative that will take you by car and boat to the floating islands of the Uros Titicaca Lodge. Otherwise contact us to coordinate your transport to the lodging. This is within the national reserve of Lake Titicaca. The approximate travel time to the floating island is 40 minutes away by boat.
If you arrive by train Andean Explorer of Cusco (arrives at 18:00 hours), take a taxi to PUERTO KALAPAJRA or we can send a private car to pick you up for additional cost of 15 US dollars for 2 person and will be received by our representatives and will transfer you by car and boat to the lodge in a route of 40 minutes.

Uros Titicaca Lodge has mobile phone connectivity to Entel.
It is recommended to bring charged the batteries of the cameras, laptop, I-pod, Uros Titicaca Lodge Electrical energy is provided through solar panels, this supplies only the light in the lodge facilities and can charge only small electronic objects such as: cell phones and tablets. You must bring a cable with a USB input to charge your cell phones.
Our baths are 100% ecological with a dry bath system (The ecological dry bath, also known as a dry toilet, is a type of bath characterized by not using piped water, but instead taking advantage of the capabilities of composting (aerobic fermentation) and drying to degrade fecal matter). Highlight that this type of bath does not pollute the lake.
Our heating system in common areas is based on gas heaters that it is use during 2 hours timetable: 7:00 pm-9:00pm
Hot water is not permanent, because we have a solar hot water system that depends on weather conditions. It is also important to highlight that the hot water will be enough to have a nice shower and once the spout is open you will have to wait 1 to 2 minutes for the water to come out hot.
Puno Weather changes rapidly, it is advisable to wear light clothing during the day when it's sunny (shirts / sweatshirts, short sleeve shirts, shorts) and warm winter clothing for sunset walks (sweater, jacket, fleece, pants long). It is also recommended to use walking shoes, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen when you are out of Uros Titicaca Lodge.
The accommodation is surrounded by Lake Titicaca has a casual atmosphere, so feel free to use comfortable clothes and warm clothes. If you do need to wash something, Uros Titicaca Lodge offers laundry service in the city of Puno.

Cancellation: We accept reservations through emails, whatsapp, and the payment would be to the arrival to Uros Titicaca Lodge. No deposit is required. (Basically, you send us a mail here confirming which room or tour you'd like to take, pay the money when you get here, and it's done!)
Our lodge is located in the middle of Lake Titicaca the only lodge out of the touristic area of Uros floating islands.
Qalapajra harbor is 10 minutes from the city center, this is not the main port but a small alternate harbor. From this harbor we pick up our guests to transfer them by boat to our Lodge, the lake transfer lasts 40 minutes.
There is only one airport and it is located in Juliaca, Juliaca is 1 hour from the city of Puno.
Due to covid 19, the procedure for disinfection and cleaning of the rooms takes longer than normal since 5th generation quaternary ammonium is used with thermo nebulizers and vaporizers and bleach sprays. Disinfecting a room requires a minimum of approximately 2 ½ hours.
You should bring warm clothing with you throughout the year as the highland climate is characterized by being cold, particularly at night and early morning.
We do not have a parking area because we are located in the middle of Lake Titicaca, on a floating island.
